There are four different assessments for each of the Phonics Storybook Readers 1-5 and three different assessments for each of the Phonics Storybook Readers 6 to 17.

At the end of the book are two achievement tests: one to assess progress in the Raceway program and the other to assess progress at the end of first grade and assess readiness for Level 2.
